This boat at rest was on the volcanic island the small sailing tour group stopped at off of the island of Santorini. The boat shimmering in the sunshine caught my eye and it reminds me of a boat who’s travailed many waves and sailed many miles, perhaps even witnessed the catching of fish but as for today, she rests on her dry dock, basking in the sun. Perhaps she will sail another day.
