Firmament means, “the heaven or the sky.” This work exhibits the created earth and the life within the spanse of the galaxies. The water comes from above, filling the earth, providing life. The middle band created with texture and muted colors relates to the liminal space - the space between where we exist and where the heavens lie. We live in the space between.
